Materials: Lion Brand cotton bamboo light dk weight cream over dyed at home with a sea foam green and liked the bamboo hook the best with this yarn

this is a Goddess shawl pattern I got somewhere on the net last year. I bought some cotton bamboo yarn as the pattern called for a light dk weight. I spin my own yarn usually but since i never worked this pattern i decided to use store bought. right weight etc.I loved working with this yarn. i changed hooks a few times and found the bamboo ones were the best for this yarn and project. the metal one slipped to much and my wooden one didn't slip enough
this is a half circle shawl. I think this was a doily pattern cut in half. I like that idea for shawls.
I made this to work the pattern for the first time to see if I enjoyed doing this pattern. I did and will end up making some more and tweaking the pattern on a few .. Longer ,shorter more lace on the edges who knows. I think my daughter who loves the green hues will get this for her birthday..shhh don't tell her. :>)
I also want to say that i over dyed the cream to get the seafoam color using procien dye
