This is my first in a series of free-style "winter prayer garden" afghans to help winter quickly move into spring. I chose three main colors plus off-white for random double-crochet repeats. I incorporated complimentary colors and textures from scraps and specialty yarns. Although the sequencing of materials and colors used was not thoroughly planned out, I do plan to crochet a soft, off-white border all around to represent a white picket fence around my garden. My cat Nala loves this garden already.
