Before I talk about my scarf, I should say thank you to my dear little "model", Timothy, who ends up having to pose with all of my finished projects!
This was my very first time using the cable stitch! I made the scarf for my brother-in-law from a pattern out of a book I bought on a clearance rack somewhere in my travels... I used "Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool" which really made the project. The yarn was light and easy to work with but cuddly warm when I tried on the scarf.
I have been wanting to make something using the cable stitch for almost a year now and finally decided to sit down and teach myself how to do it...how easy it really is!
After seeing how the scarf turned out, my pastor asked me to make one for him so I guess I'll be buying more Fisherman's Wool sometime soon! ;)
