Saturday Morning Hoodie
Created By: Naomi Pilantz
Craft: knit
Materials: I had a stash of variegated, worsted weight wool that I loved and wanted to use but had never found the right pattern for it. Using a double-strand of this yarn gave me the exact gauge for the Saturday Morning Hoodie which proved to be the perfect project for this yarn.
Pattern Source: lionbrand:
This project worked up quickly and I was able to keep on pace with the blog which proved to be full of helpful ideas.
The only variations I made to this pattern were to use a double strand of worsted weight wool, attach large fun buttons rather than toggles and using a different method to create the button loops. With a size J hook, I crocheted up the right front side , stopping to chain stich 8 stiches for each button loop. This saved me quite a bit of time as I only needed to weave in ends at the beginning and end of the front edge.
This was my first experience with a knit-along and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to seeing what project will be next.
