This is a blanket I made for my boyfriend for his birthday. He had mentioned before that he wanted one so I thought his birthday would be a good time. I chose red and black because he love the Huskers (Nebraska's football team). He actually sent me this picture to show me how much he was enjoying it.
Overall it was not a hard blanket, the hardest part for me was having the patience to do it, which is something I tend to lack.
I got the idea from one of Vanna's books but I changed what squares I was using. The entires blanker is diffrent types of squares but mainly the granny square.
