Materials: I used a variety of yarns. I mostly looked for something soft like Moonlight Mohair.

I used the free wristlet pattern without a thumb. My first pairs were with size 10 needles and I just did the garter stitch (all knit). Then I began using size 7 needles. For all of them, I cast on 30 stitches.
For variety, I did a cuff with a knit two, purl two pattern and then knit the rest in stocking stitch (knit one row, purl one row). I added buttons and ribbons for fun. I made 10 different ones--some for Christmas presents and some for friends who saw them and thought they were cute. Everyone has used them to keep their hands warm; thus warming my heart, too.
