Materials: Homespun in Cobalt (bought several years ago back east, I've yet to find the color again so I think it's been discontinued)

Homespun is a hard yarn to work with unless you use a really large hook, so I was happy to find this pattern. Reading the other comments, I don't see how you could have run out of yarn unless your gauge is off because I still had yarn left over. Also, I'm a size 12-14 with fairly large arms and it fit me just fine without making any changes to the pattern. It's a beautiful shrug; I've already had 2 requests from friends to make them one.
