Americana Afghans

For Christmas 2005, I decided to make a very special handmade gift for the relatives with whom we exchange gifts. Rather than try to match them all to each decorating style (think of the headaches!) I decided to try to find something that would be loved by all. What better than an American flag?! I was thrilled to find your free Americana afghan patern online, and I love Lion Brand Yarns because they are beautiful -- and easy to find in local shops. In this picture I am holding six of seven afghans. Number seven is nearly complete! This pattern was easy and made beautiful afghans over and over. And over! Thanks!
