Colorfull Holiday Fun Scarf

This Scarf was lots of fun, very soft and as you can see very colorfull. This was the first time I blended the two types of yarn together. I used Lion Brand Chenille and a bright multi-color fancy/or fun fur..The wrapper got tossed by accident by my 3 year old; I know it was one of the two. I made this for me, as a test to see how well it would come out, and I couldn't be happier. This scarf has just enough weight and plenty of softness..I made up my own pattern which is beginner friendly..
Put both strands of yarn together, using a size j or k crochet hook; chain to desired length. rw1 sc, rw 2 dc first three or five(your choice)ch 1,dc in next st. Repeat this to end of row..rw3 sc. rw4 is a repeat of rw2,(except this time off set it like a checker board. And keep repeating till your desired width)
I usually make my chain length long(50-60"Long) and width about 5"wide.. Its up to you if you want to put a boarder, used both colores seperatley in sc and tassles.

**********************************-sc

**********************************-sc
(s-skip a stitch)
Plus you can see how it looks like a checker
