This is an original pattern that I created as I was knitting it. It worked up very quickly, taking me only an hour to knit! I used size US13 circular needles that were 16inches long but I strongly suggest you use 20inch length circulars if you have them. I didn't have them available at the time. I cast on 31 joined being careful not to twist and knit until I had about 2 yards left of yarn at which point I cast off. THe cast off edge is VERY tight which kinda draws the purse in nice and tight. I hate knitting a purse with a floppy opening! With the last of the yarn and a crochet hook size H I sewed up the bottom and turned it right side out. I attached the handles I had also bought from my local craft store and Va Voom! A cute BIG little Purse! I am sending three pictures that were taken of the purse! I would recomend this project as long as your don't have arthitis in your hands, it'll kill em cause the yarn is so thick and knits so tightly. I have already made two other purses and have sold them to friends of mine! Enjoy!
