I saw this blanket made up in the Lion Brand Yarn Studio in NYC and knew I just had to make it for my new granddaughter Lucia who was born in NYC. I made just one design change. What is New York City without Central Park? I added grass, trees and of course a park bench. It was a labor of love and I know she will be cozy on a cold winters night.
