The softest fleece I could find (1/2 yard for hat and mittens combined)

NOTE- LB WOOLEASE THICK AND QUICK is perfect for the mitten pattern (if felting is not desired)
4 Good Earth buttons (2 for hat and 2 for mittens)

This is a charming hat that seems to stylishly fit many head shapes, as it looks fantastic on all three of my daughter's heads! The pattern was easy to follow and works up relatively quickly as it works with a worsted weight yarn. Like many other patterns, I decided to modify the end product by lining it in a soft fleece. What a stylish and warm hat it became! To compliment the hat, I worked up some matching (felted) mittens (yes, also lined with matching fleece) embellished with buttons. Delightful project!
