Child's Poncho

I made this poncho for my daughter for back to school. She and I were reading a crochet magazine and on the back cover there was a Lion Brand ad and she said she wanted the poncho that was pictured, lol! I had her pick out the yarn (she loves the color purple). This poncho I made from Homespun Lavender Sachet and the trim is the new Grape color. It only took about 2 days! It's the crochet pattern for Child's Poncho, and I had to make a few adjustments so it would fit over her head (the large isn't large enough). I made it longer than the pattern, and made a different trim. I'm getting ready to start another one for my younger daughter! Lion Brand yarns are truly unique and awesome to work with! I've made a few ponchos out of the Homespun and love the free patterns. =)
