Beaded ponchos

I made these ponchos for my nieces ages 6, 10 and 12. I used Microspun because I liked the color selection and because it's a lighter weight. The girls have spring and summer birthdays and I wanted them to be able to wear their ponchos even when the weather was warm. I adapted an old pattern that I had for the yarn and the sizes. It could be easily made for any size. I didn't want to make a fringe so I threaded sead beads onto the yarn to make the loops. I also added a row a single crochet around the neckline with beads in between.
