Black Cashmere Scarf

I have always wanted to knit something in cashmere yarn. I am an advanced beginner and was afraid to buy expensive cashmere yarn, and possiblly ruin it! Then I got the Lion Brand catalog in the mail, and saw the LB Collection Cashmere yarn for $15.00, which was affordable for me. I ordered two balls of the black,#153(Onyx). I love this yarn!! It far exceeded my expectations and was so easy to knit with! I started easy with a scarf pattern with multible cable stitches and added the black pearl beads on each end after it was knitted. By using black yarn, this first-time cashmere knitter was able to hide any mistakes,(there were two minor ones!) I can really recommend the LB Collection yarns, they are excellent quality for any knitter! Oh! by the way, the reluctant model for the second photo is my cat Smokey!
