It was the first piece of clothing I ever knit. All you do is garter stitch, so it's really good for a beginner. The Homespun yarn is a dream because since it's thick, it knits up really fast. I would recommend this project for anyone wanting to knit because to me, it really gives the wannabe knitter confidence. I added a shell crochet stitch around the edges. I haven't added the button yet.
