The hat and the neckwarmer are all shell stitches and the flowers are done according to http://crochet-mania.blogspot.com/2009/05/cheerful-crochet-flower.html.
They're interchangeable - the ladybug is actually a button that holds them down.
(Unfortuantely, the colors in the photo are a little off, e.g. the last flower is violet, sorry - it's already been givena way by the time I noticed.)
