Created By: India Damaris
Pattern Source: other:
This is a shorty sweatshirt that I copied, being a seamstress, was easy for me, off a Victoria Secret's shorty red sweatshirt that I adore and have had for years! The Bernat denim worked great as it is close to sport weight and soft!
It is a simple ragland sleeve pattern, you just use the standard ragland sleeve increases for an average opening. For the neck, I picked up stitches in the Bernat style-denim's Chino and did a k1p1 rib. At the beginning of front and back I used the Chino with the blue for my 2yarn cast on as well as the sleeves rib, to give it that nice white edge, as if it was a real sweatshirt with the inside fuzzy part peaking out. Lay a shirt/sweatshirt flat, on its back and you can by gauge/needles get the width and keep going, laying your knitting down on the front or back, sleeves and use the sweatshirt as a guide and it can be very simple to replicate! :)
