Every year(for at least the past 15) a group of college friends, now with their families, have camped on an island off the coast of Maine, Warren Island. This year was special because two of the gals were celebrating their birthday, which happened to be on the same day. As a project during our camping trip, I thought I'd see if I could crochet at least one "Coming Home" poncho (and do the other back at home). Well, my progress was noted through pictures and I finished my poncho in two days. Everyone thought it came out beautiful and my friend Kathy received it and thought it was that much more special because it was made during our trip to Warren Island.
