The Shimmer Shine Holiday Mop Scarf was my own inspiration, handmade and heartfelt. I was home one day, just one month ago, and thought of this idea right here on my sofa without doing any research about making scarfs. I feel in love with Vanna White's glamor yarn from Michaels and wanted to try creating a scarf so I started tying by hand knots together of the yarn. Then I continued tying them piece by piece. I used the platinum and moonstone glamor yarn. One knot lead into another and it was all done by my hands - no sewing involved in this craft. The two yarns I chose from Vanna White's collection are rich in design and go so well for the holidays; I especially love the shimmer. Vanna I must say this scarf would look so nice on you! She inspires me to go make other ones from the vanna's glamor yarn because this scarf design is so unique and beautiful. My family and friends have asked me to make them some. I was just featured on Dec 6th in our local newspaper about making handmade Christmas gifts. Here is the link
