Martha's Poncho

When Martha stepped out of that vehicle and proceeded across the runway to the plane to take her home, I had only 2 thoughts: "My what a classy Lady! Coming home in a real stylish poncho!" and "Now just where can I get that pattern!" Lion Brand made my dream come true a short time later when I read my newsletter and Lion Brand said they would get the pattern to its crafters. I made one and couldn't walk into a store without drawing attention( the picture of the poncho in Homespuns Montana Sky) I've made one in Delft, Regency, Quartz,French Provincial, Creole, Renaissance(my favorite). Also, I treaked the pattern and used Rocco and Wool-Ease Fisherman and bumped the needle up to a P. Seems when i am not making ponchos, I'm making all sorts of Fun and Fancy Fur scarves. Thank goodness for Lion Brand for bringing crocheting and knitting back to a popularity again!
