Tranquil Comfort Shawl
Created By: Rebecca Hampton
Craft: crochet
Materials: I used Homespun Baroque. Because of my "individual variance" I had to use just a little more than 3 balls, but I always know that I'm going to need just a little more than the actual pattern says, so I buy extra up front. One of these days, I'm going to crochet an afghan with all this leftover yarn.....and it is guaranteed to be the UGLIEST creation in the world and the most TEXTURED. roflol!
Pattern Source: book: Tranquil Comfort Shawl (leaflet)
I saw this leaflet in my local Hancock Fabrics store and I was just really captured by the color and the relaxed look of the piece.Originally,I was just going to make it for myself, but once I actually started working with the Homespun yarn I decided that my Aunt Betty would love it! She lives in assisted living in Florida and she likes something light around her shoulders when the weather is cool....AND she LOVES purple!!! I'll make me another one. I just LOVE this pattern.
