Market Bag x Two (Actually Four)
Created By: Georg-Anne Duval
Craft: crochet
Materials: Lion Organic Cotton (Cactus) Lion Cotton (Expresso) Size I Crochet Hook Pashimas and Batik for lining
Pattern Source: lionbrand: Market Bag

So, I've completed the two additional bags, for my eldest and middle daughters. As with my daughters, each bag made carefully with love, turned out splendidly, and yet differently. I find it interesting that the same pattern never seems to produce the same end result. I appreciate all of the different posts, and snagged the idea of using a single crochet round on the edge in order to limit the stretch factor a bit, thank you! The chocolate brown bag is lined with the pashima shown (purchased in Florence, Italy). The cactus colored bag will be lined with a fabric I found recently, a fabulous batik pring... Now, it's time to move on to explore another knitting avenue or maybe even finish one of my already begun projects.... For instance, I've completed another of these in Moonlight Mohair (Everglades) and have a perfectly matching pashima that I found in Perkins Cove, Maine to line it with! I've save a picture spot to add one once I simply whipstitch the lining in place! To be continued!
