This project was of medium difficulty for me. Prior to this project I had only knit 2 scarves and a pair of fingerless gloves. So, if you have knitting experience it will be easy. Total hours it took me from start to finish (including the time it took me to start this project over 7x) was about 14 hours. I didn't have enough yarn left to make the ties so instead I added a strap with a button on the left side and used the bottom decorative hole as a button hole. This worked great! I made the size 3.
