This was a woven scarf, 10"x68". It was woven on a Rigid Heddle Loom in plain weave. The warp was Homespun, windsor, with one warp of Trelis,Ocean and the weft was 1" of the homespun then a shot of Incredible, autumn Leaves, then four shots of Moonlight Mohair, safari. It was easy to weave and very fast. It was interesting, as the look of the scarf changed with every weft shot. This is an original pattern. I was attempting to copy the knitted glacier bay scarf that came out with the original Moonlight Mohair, but I didn't like the woven look, so I changed the colors and came up with a pattern. It is very exotic looking. I am planing to do the same scarf using Homespun Sierria as warp and Trelis, Ocean and Moonlight Mohair, Glacier Bay as warp.
