Knit Striped Caplet

I made your Knit Striped Caplet for my 18 month old daughter Rachel. I immediately fell in love with this pattern when I saw the gorgeous Fun Fur colors that you used (Red, Raspberry, Tangerine & Hot Pink). Because the store where I purchased the yarn only had 2 of the 4 colors, and I still wanted to make the caplet, and I am not good at color coordination, I "hesitantly" only chose 2 colors: Raspberry (solid) and Tropical (varigated). Long story short--the finished caplet is GORGEOUS!! I alternated 21 rows of Tropical with 21 rows of Raspberry, two times. (The pattern called for 14 rows of each 4 color). The pattern also called for a total of 8 skeins of yarn (2 skeins of each 4 colors), but I only used 4 skeins (2 skeins of each 2 colors).
EVERYWHERE my daughter wears her caplet, she gets numerous compliments, and I am always asked "where did you get that?" I LOVE saying "I knitted it!" I would highly recommend knitting this very-easy-to-make caplet for your "Rachel".
