Would you like to share a project that you have made from our yarns or
our patterns? Hundreds of thousands of people who care
about your favorite craft will see your work. Any submissions,
particularly original ones are welcome, as long as the project was
made from Lion Brand Yarn.
When I saw Martha's Coming Home Project on the Lion Brand site, I immediately downloaded the pattern and made mine exactly like hers.
I have three daughters and occasionally I honor them on Mother's Day with a gift thanking them for making me a mother. This year I made all three the poncho and also corcheted one for my granddaughter. Attached are pictures.
I must say, we love our ponchos. Other than wearing them on a chilly day the unusual places they are worn: My daughters wear theirs at work in their air conditioned offices and I throw mine on in the morning when I take my pup out.
I have given the pattern to my friends and I even made one for a friend who doesn't crochet. What a success that pattern was and the yarn was so beautiful.
Unfortunately, we cannot make it to Martha's show on the 13th of September. My sister (who crocheted herself a poncho)and my three daughters will be accompanying me to New York on December 8th and 9th of this year to help me celebrate my 70th birthday. Would it be possible to obtain tickets to her show at that time? Thank you.
