Craft: crochet
Materials: I used a thick chenile wool that was $2 a ball from a discount store. Not sure how many balls I used but I adapted the pattern to the size I wanted for my son. He's now 20 months old and loves to cuddle under his 'blankie' on the couch.

I wanted a nice blanket without 'holes' for my then 1 year old son. I found the City Blocks Blanket on the Lion Brand Yarn site and went shopping for the materials. Once I had found what I wanted it only took 3 months to complete, doing little bits here and there.
