This is the second of three firefighter blankets I have made. I have three grandsons and come from a family of firefighters. This blanket takes a while to complete since I work full time but is worth the effort to see their faces when they get their Fireman Blanket! I personalized each blanket with the badge, house and truck numbers of their grandfather (my husband), uncle (my son) and I think for the third and upcoming, their great-uncle (my brother-in-law). I hope these become heirlooms as they were very meaningful for me to make.
