Glowing Colors afghan
Created By: Pat Mckay
Craft: knit
Materials: I used the pattern's recommended yarn: Lions Brand Jiffy, plus the same size recommended needles, #17.
Pattern called for 3 panels, but another crafter left instructions on the pattern for a 4th panel. Since there was plenty of yarn leftover, I followed part of the recommendations for the 4th panel, then half way, made up my own color combos, based on the amounts of yarn I had left. Also put on a bit of fringe on each end side.

Although I've knitted & crocheted for years, I don't do it on a regular basis. I'm at an intermediate level of skill, but was looking for an afghan pattern that included loads of bright colors & was both easy & quick to knit. This pattern was uber simple to execute & took only a few nights work. It brightens up a corner of my family room perfectly & will be cozy to snuggle with in the winter.
