Amigurumi Monkey

Craft: crochet
Materials: Used Lion Brand Vanna's Choice worsted weight yarn in Chocolate and Beige, crochet hook size G-6, stitch markers, large-eyed blunt needle, fiberfill stuffing.

Another creation from Vanna's Choice easy crochet Critters (pattern book found by clicking "Shop" on this web site). This project was easy. However, the end result doesn't quite look like the picture in the book. To make the hands and feet look like the one in the book, one would need to change the color after the final reduction of the stitches around (for the arms/legs). Also, I found the instructions did not include information about attaching the muzzle. I sewed the muzzle to the head and stuffed it after I had about 3/4 of the stitches done. Also, I decided to be on the safe side and use french knots for eyes instead of the safety eyes (this is for my infant grandson). Overall, I'm happy with Mister Monkey.
