I made this bag for my daughter last summer, she used the bag daily. The only drawback is that with the soft organic cotton and crochet style, it stretches quite a bit after much use. The strap was a bit long so we modified it by folding it over and adding accent buttons. Recently the bag needed to be "freshened" up a bit, so I washed it and reworked the ends, cleaned up any "pilling" and then lined the bag with a lovely fabric that my daughter and I picked out together in Firenze, IT. A second bag is in the making for another daughter, accent buttons and another length of Italian fabric awaits the finished product. This one will be a chocolate brown with a deep green paisley lining...
