My Grandaughter Cheyenne is 9 yrs old. She loves to draw,and is a good artist, someday she may be famous. I wanted to make something extra special just for her from me. I kept all of her drawings of hearts and couldn't bring myself to throw them away, so i decided to make her a blanket with the hearts in mind. I used Lion Brand Baby Soft Yarn and made granny squares, in her favorite colors at that time. I looked at all the hearts different sizes & shapes and embroidered them here and there on the blanket,
the afghan turned out to be a twin size blanket for her bed. Cheyenne is very special to me and making things for her gives me such pleasure. I embroidered her name and date I made the blanket so she could remember I made it especially for her.
