My 7yr old grandaughter Pressley absolutely loves porky pig. I wanted to make her something extra special for Christmas last year. After looking at a million patterns I made my own. I was going to make a small size afghan, but, it kept growing ( it fits her twin size bed.) I used Lion Brand Baby Soft Yarn and crochetd granny squares with blue, cause she loves blue, and made pink piggy faces and stitched them on by hand. Of course piggys need tails, so the reverse side of each piggy has a squiggly tail. This was so much fun to make for my special grandaughter, the look on her face was so precious, she loves it. I embroidered her name and the year I made it so she can remember I made it just for her.
