These socks were crocheted using a self-striping yarn, which is 75% wool. They are crocheted from the toe up, inserting the heel last. I used a size C hook. They were very easy and quick to make. This self-striping yarn makes a great pattern. I made them for a co-worker. Next time I make them I would like to add a decorative stitch at the top of the ankle part.
