A group of us who work together knit "squares" 7"x9" and sew them together to make blankets for children who are sick with cancer. We have made over 500 blankets and have donated almost all of them to local childrens' hospitals in the metro Atlanta area and to Ronald McDonald Houses in NC. After the blankets are sewn together, we crochet an edge around them to finish them.
