Crocheted Skinny Scarf
Created By: Alina Jones
Pattern Source: other:

I made this richly colored scarf for one of my daughters and I am working on another one in a different combination of colors to suit my younger daughter.

I am saddened by how difficult it was for me to acquire some of the yarns as the more colorful selections of Suede yarn has been discontinued as well as the entire line of Fancy Fur. But I have a few sources who I can still get the skeins from so I am able to design exactly the way I wanted this project to turn out.

I used Fuchsia Suede, Homespun Plum & Barrington and the beautiful Fancy Fur in Stained Glass to get the beautiful effect you see here. I will also show the other scarf once I finish it and the colors in that one are absolutely gorgeous!

Also, what was nice about this pattern was that it worked up quickly & easily. I did make some adjustments to even out the edges as one edge in the pattern/picture is narrower than the finishing side. I just put in extra rows at the beginning of the pattern.

I adore the Fancy Furs. The colors they had were incredible and look great in projects. So ladies, get a stash going and start your scarf today! These also make great gifts, for sure.......
