Materials: For my project i used 200g (170yds +170yds) of N 125 TAUPE colour and about 120g (170yds+ 34yds)of N 99 LINEN color of the Lion Brand Yarn "Vanna's Choice" yarn.

My project consist of two parts - the winter scarf and the hat. The project idea came to me when I bought the yarns at the Michaels store.These colors are my favourite and I am wearing my scarf and hat with the great pleasure. It is my own idea, design and style , but to knitt my project I used different knitting stitch patterns which you can find in magazines or in internet.
To knitt the scarf i start with 28 stitches.
3 rows of Garter Stitch using both colors together,
then 6 sm of Two By Two Rib stitch pattern using only TAUPE colour yarn,
then # 3 rows of Garter Stitch using both colors together,
next row I made the "Pearls" with the LINEN color on each 3rd stitch, next again 3 rows of Garter Stitch using both colors together #
then I knitt 7 sm using stockinette (Straight Knit Stitch)stitch with TAUPE colour yarn
then repeat from # to #
after## knitt 8 sm of using stockinette stitch with TAUPE colour yarn
next 6 rows of Garter Stitch using both colors together##
repeat from ## to ## more 8 times
next knitt 8 sm using stockinette (Straight Knit Stitch)stitch with TAUPE colour yarn
then repeat from # to #
next I knitt 7 sm using stockinette (Straight Knit Stitch)stitch with TAUPE colour yarn
then repeat from # to #
then 6 sm of Two By Two Rib stitch pattern using only TAUPE colour yarn
and finish work with 3 rows of Garter Stitch using both colors together.
To make a hat I used the same system of rows and stitch patterns, only when I knitt the parts with stockinette stitches in some rows I knitt each 8th stitch with the next one together to give to the hat a shape of the head. On the top of the head all stithes which i had on my needle I join together and then sew the hat.
Project is ready!
