Although I followed the pattern exact and contacted Lion Brand pattern support, the sleeves are short-sleeves, ending at the elbow, instead of the long sleeves in the image pattern.
The pattern, despite not matching the image, was great! Very easy to follow and was worked in manageable pieces so it was not over whelming. After giving this as a gift, I am tempted to make other for myself.
After working it out, I figured out how to make a longer sleeve version. If you want to make one with longer sleeves, you will need to make an additional 12 of pattern A or you can variate them with pattern B. Add 6 (2 rows of 3) to the Sleeve Construction image along the long side then attach your cuff; so you are adding an additional 2 rows of 3 to the bottom before the cuff.
