Ripple baby blanket

I made this blanket for my new baby cousin. Her room is decorated in pink, white and black, so this will hopefully match. I used a pattern I found on this website, Simple Stripes Baby Afghan. The pattern was easy and quick. I had a little difficulty because I chose different yarns that didn't quite fit together perfectly. It looks a lot better after blocking it (the picture is pre-blocking). I used LB Vanna's Choice Baby and LB Vanna's choice (the baby yarn doesn't come in black; go figure!). I actually used one other yarn because I wanted a light pink and there wasn't one in LB yarn in stock at the store I was in. That was part of the problem, though, and I should have stuck with LB yarn!
