I made this layette set for a friend who is expecting a son this month. I found the pattern beautiful and used the recommended yarn. The only thing I did differently was the hat. I knit the hat using 4 double pointed needles instead and am pleased with the results (I just didn't like the idea of the seam in the hat!) Also, I wished the blanket was a bit wider. So, next time I make this I will definitely add to the width of this blanket.
