Fair Isle Snowflake
Created By: Charlotte Hunter
Pattern Source: other:
My first try at color changing. It was very easy.
I made this last month, automatically making the same change, kfb for all the M1’s.
I also used size 2 needles and only K1 on Rows 4, 6, 8, and 10 , then reversed at the end, so the increases and decreases came faster.
My final size was only 3 ½ inches in both height and width (I knit tight). I stuffed it with polyfiber so my son could throw it around in the house for our dog to play with.
You might want to make the same changes to the chart that I did so the entire snowflake is symmetrical top and bottom. Counting the columns from left to right across the top:
change the following squares from red to white:
Column 12, Row 23
Column 11, 12, 13, Row 22
Column 12, Row 21
change the following squares from white to red:
Column 1, Row 19
