I made this afghan just to determine if I could do it. I told friends if I get through this one I will make each of my six grandchildren one and save it for their weddings.
Well it took me four months to complete and I thought the pattern was very hard to read and understand. My husband and I decided if I ever got finished with this one I should enter it in the county fair. I finished it and won both the blue ribbon for first place and the red rose for the best of the best in knitting. The red rose earned me enough money for yarn for another afghan.
I just wanted to share it with your readers so they will know it is possible to completed. I will need to get started on the promises made to the grandchildren.
