cupcake scarfs
Created By: Laurel Heflin
Craft: crochet
Pattern Source: other:
I can not make a rectangular scarf to save my life. The sides always go in and out, and I can never figure it out. So I decided to go around and around. I chain 150 for an adult size scarf about 5 ft. Or 100 for a child size scarf. I switch from the cream center to a chocolate center or all chocolate, depending on my chocolate needs for the day.
I chose to roll the scarf cause it looked so yummy. And it made frosting on top.
I like to roll the rounded side in to give the tip on the cupcake.
I cut out a square shape tissue paper of any color. Fold it around the outside of the scarf, then I use a ribbon of the same color as the tissue paper, double sided tape to hold.
I put a Vanilla sented pouch under the scarf in a rounded container with a peep hole on the lid.
The scarf keeps the sent of the Vanilla for a little while but the container still has the pouch so I just put it back in.
