I made this in the size 6-8 for my 5 year old son. It was my first sweater project and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I took my time and mastered each step along the way. It was easy to assemble. I used the Vanna's Choice in the Woods Print, as suggested.
The only change I made was that I made the hood a little bigger since my son has a big head! It worked out well.
I have also knitted a size 10-12 for my other son and it seemed a little bit small for the size.
I am now working on one for myself with HomeSpun yarn. We'll see how that works ok. So far, so good.
