Topsy Turnabout doll
Created By: Valerie Ford
Craft: knit
Materials: Vanna's choice and Vanna's Choice baby, in Goldfish, Duckie, Red, Colonial Blue, Pea Green, Angel white, pink and other colours
Pattern Source: other: Topsy Turnabout Doll by Jean Greenhowe
This is a Jean Greenhowe pattern for a "four in one" topsy turnabout doll. She has two heads, two pairs of arms, two skirts, four faces - but no legs. Turn her one way up and she can either be Little Miss Muffit or Little Red Riding Hood, depending on which face is uncovered and which bonnet and apron are worn.
Turn her the other way up and she can be either Old Mother Hubbard or Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother. Again depending on which face is showing and which bonnet and apron is worn. Either which way, she is awfully cute.
There are also additional accessories to go with each story tail character, including the poor doggie and empty bowl for Mother Hubbard; the bowl of curds and whey and the spider, for Miss Muffit; goody basket and bouqet of flowers for Red Riding Hood; and bottle of medicine and sweet kitty cat for the Grandmother. The choice is yours.
