Beary Earred Toddler Jacket

I found this pattern in a book that one of my daughters had checked out of the local library for me. For a long time I've crocheted nothing but baby blankets, but I'd been wanting to try something a little more challenging for a while and just hadn't found the right pattern until I came across this one. It's a puffy jacket with ribbed waist and wrist bands, some ribbing around the hat to join it to the jacket, and of course the cute little ears on top of the hat. This is a picture of the very first jacket that I had made. It was made out of the baby clouds baby yarn and took somewhere in the area of 22 hrs. to make.
