Baby Sweater for Kalin

This is my first knitted baby item,...ever! I fell in love with Lion's "Nature's Choice" Organic cotton yarn and had a friend's baby shower coming up,...so, I made this pattern, after the Lion Brand Pattern #60128A "Little Luxery Kimono".
I used the "Strawberry" color, and didn't realize until I finished it, that it is a bit bulky for baby clothes! The pattern called for the Lion Brand Cashmere Blend. Now, the "sweater" is more like a "jacket". This pattern is quick and easy,...even for a slow beginner like me. Instead of the knitted ties, I used pink satin ribbon for the ties to make it a little dressier. "Kalin" is not even born yet, (Due in late Oct.), but she will have the finest wardrobe ever!!
