our patterns? Hundreds of thousands of people who care
about your favorite craft will see your work. Any submissions,
particularly original ones are welcome, as long as the project was
made from Lion Brand Yarn.
This pattern suggests using Lion Brand's Glitterspun Bronze yarn, and perhaps my choice to ignore their suggestion is why I had such a hard time with the pattern. I had to take it apart (almost completely) 3 times and start over to figure out mistakes and other confusing steps. In the end I modified the pattern, and as you can see, it does not have the ribbing on the edge as it does in Lion brand's pattern. I was very satisfied once I had completed the project, perhaps because it was such a struggle! It was made for my little sister for her birthday, and she loved it and gets comments on it all the time- people asking her where she bought it! She giggles and tells them I made it and they often remark how they would've payed 20$ + for it at some popular store. So, the moral of the story is: crochet for your loved ones, cause you will stay more calm and finish the project instead of quitting!
