I’m always on the lookout for new-to-me patterns that break up the stripey look of the self-striping yarns and I think this pattern is a winner!
Anne Campbell has a variety of patterns free for the downloading on Ravelry - take a look and I bet you will find something you just gotta make. :)
My first try with the newish Lion Brand Sock-ease and aloe vera coated yarn. My feet could use a little TLC - maybe this will be the way to get it.
Note: Actually only the cuffs are made from Anne's pattern - I always use my own heel flap (garter stitch on size 0 needles) and foot (I don't like the pattern inside my shoe cuz it can interfere with my poor circulation).
